It’s Eric Metaxas. Now he has taken on another genre, reporting of miracles. His book, Miracles, is divided into two parts: Part I is an apologetics masterpiece showing the desire and need in each of us for God to exist. Why would we feel a perplexing sadness at the thought of His non-existence in a troubled world?
Part II relates very believable miracles from believable witnesses, usually documented. Eric shares the account of his own unlikely conversion. Then he proceeds to describe various types of interventions by God in our natural world in the lives of people he actually knows personally. One gets the idea that God has reserved the right to meddle in His world if He wants to. The real people in these stories are so glad He did.
