Could some of the Caravan be mercenaries? Someone is financing them.
We have to wonder, “What are their real dreams?” “What are they really wanting to accomplish?” “Do they want a jail record?” “Will this venture get them closer or farther from entry to the US?” “Is the American Dream a reality or a fantasy?” “What’s next?” “Some people love them; some wish they would go away.”
The above story from II Chronicles tells of a caravan that is steadily moving en masse toward Jerusalem. They were being hired to come do a job. But when they arrived, they were told that they were no longer needed and could go home. They were incensed, angry, and wanted to vent their anger all the way home.
What if? What if the current Caravan arrived at our borders and were strangely welcomed by Texas church people who fed them Texas BBQ and told those willing to listen about a Savior who had already died just for them? These Texas people had heard an old command that said if your enemy hungers, feed him. These Caravan people did look hungry and road weary. The Texan folks pledged to stay out of the way of officials and help the country or the President any way possible. They loved their country and wanted to see the right thing done. The officials liked BBQ too.
Time will tell how this story will end!
